7 Miles of trails. Moderate riding with some good climbs.

Just off 37 to the East on 2nd Street, 1/4 mi from exit. Look for sign on right - Weimer Rd. Take Weimer Rd South about 3/4 mi - turn on gravel road to the right, follow for 1/4 mi to parking lot.

Knobstone Trail (Nebo Ridge)

Story, IN

8.5 (one way) 17 mi of trail total. Fast single track with lots of ups and downs. You can keep your speed to climb most of the hills with ease. There are other trails, but they are designated for hiking.

From Bloomington on Hwy 46 take Hwy 135 to the south. Approx 9 mi to Story, IN. Turn to the right at the Story Inn (not marked well). Follow road for 2.7 mi, you will pass a gravel road to the right stay to the left. The parking area is about .5 mi from bridge. Parking area is on left (small), just before a big hill to the right.

Gnaw Bone Camp

Bloomington, IN

25 mi trail system. Difficult, but fun. There is a lot of climbing and steep descents. You can get a map at the General store. There is a small fee.

From Bloomington on Hwy 46 take Hwy 135 to the south. Approx 2 mi to Gnaw bone camp. Turn to the left. There is a sign. Park at the store.

Linton Conservation Club

Linton, IN

4 miles of trails. Moderate riding on rolling reclaimed land.

From Hwy 37 at Bloomington take Hwy 45 south 14 mi to Hwy445. Take Hwy 445 west 4 mi to Hwy 54. Follow 54 west approx. 25 mi into Linton. After you pass McDonald's, take the next road to the right at the "Sunset Park" sign. Follow CR 100 west 0.7 miles to the Linton Conservation Club. Turn right into the parking lot. The trail starts up the gravel road to the right just past the restrooms. Follow the gravel road. There are two different paths to the right. The second one (just up the small hill and to the left) is the start of the longer trail. The two trails weave in and out of each other.

Yellow Banks Rec Area

Selvin, IN

4-5 mile trail. Moderate riding. Lots of roots and ruts. Some good climbs too.

From I 64 take the Holland/Tennison Exit to the south. Go West on Hwy 68 until Selvin. Go north on East 700 Rd Marked with Yellow Banks Sign. Follow E 700 Rd approx 0.7 mi turn left into park. Trail starts just over the lakes dam to the left.

Lynnville Park

Lynnville, IN

6 miles of trails. Difficult - old strip mine

From I-64 go to the Boonville/Lynnville , exit # 39. Go north on Hwy 61 to Hwy 68. Go west on Hwy 68 1.5 mi to Lynnville Park. Turn right - park near the camping area.

Birdseye Loop

Birdseye, IN

6 or 12 mi loops. The 6 mi loop is the main trail. It is mostly double track to back roads. This is a fairly easy trail, although there are some rocky sections. Trail stays clear all year. The 12 mi loop is a branch off of the main loop. It is mostly single track and has some good climbs. This section is marked by the little blue arrows. This trail is sometimes grown over in summer.

From I-64 go to Exit 72 - Hwy 145. Go north for 6 mi. Look for sign. Turn east on to a gravel/dirt road. Just over 1 mi look for small road to the right with a gate. Start at the gate.

Hickory Ridge

IN

6-mile loop near the camp ground. Connected to 43 miles of trails. Mostly hilly, wooded single track and forest roads.

Take 65 S to hwy. 58. Go west on hwy. 58 to County road 1250 west. Look for the Hickory Ridge sing or the right. Go north on country road 1250 west to route 650 north. Follow road to split, take right split follow to the Hickory Ridge camping area.

Tipsaw Lake Rec Area

Bandon, IN

6 mile trail. Moderate riding. A new trail was added this winter.

From I-64 go to Hwy 37, exit 80. Go south for 6.5 mi. Look for Tipsaw Recreation Area sign. Turn right into park entrance. Stay on main road until you get the lake. Park near the beach. The trail starts to the right. Through an opening in the field go to the right up a hill into single track.

France Park

Logansport, IN

4.5 - 18 mi of trails. Moderate riding. Some flat, rocky areas and some very big hills. There is a fee for riding at main entrance.

From Lafayette take Hwy 25 north to Logansport, Take Hwy 35 north to Hwy 24. Go west on Hwy 24 approx 3 mi. Park to the left, and look for a sign on the right.

Youngs Creek Trail

Youngs Creek, IN

11 miles of trails. Difficult riding. Some very big hills. Be careful, as horses use this trail as well.

From Bloomington take Hwy 37 south to Pine Valley. At Pine Valley, turn right at the Youngs Creek sign, there is a Marathon Station, on to County road 560 south. Go west approx. 0.8 miles and turn right into the trail had parking area. There should be a FR 707 sign. Not always the easiest to find.
